🍳 Skillet Chicken Shawarma Recipe

🧂 You’ll Need:

Chicken + Marinade:

  • 1½–2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 garlic clove, minced (optional)

  • Salt to taste (if not already in your blend)


🔥 How to Make It:

  1. Marinate the Chicken
    Mix all ingredients in a bowl or ziplock. Coat well and marinate at least 30 minutes (up to 24 hours if you’re planning ahead).

  2. Heat the Skillet
    Place a large skillet (cast iron if you have it) over medium-high heat. Add a little oil if needed.

  3. Cook the Chicken
    Add chicken in a single layer. Cook for 5–6 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.

  4. Rest + Slice
    Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then slice thin.
